Installation

The following are steps to install and setup Call-A-Key, once you receive the complete package. Step by step instructions are available on-line as well.

  1. Install the Call-a-Key lock on your property’s front door and set the sign in the yard. 

  2. Complete and fax in the Property Registration form so the Call Center can provide a detailed tour of your property and answer buyer’s questions. 

  3. You're ready to go!

 



How It Works

  1. Buyers are attracted to your property on the internet and drive by to look. They see the CALL-A-KEY Instant Access sign, and call for entry. The call center representative verifies the caller’s identity and provides them with a one-Locktime use code to unlock the door.  The representative stays on the line as long as possible with the prospect, giving them a tour of the property and collecting data about the buyer.  All the data is entered into the database and an instant message is emailed to the agent. 

  2. The agent or builder can log into the database and read all about the prospect and their reaction to the home, or they can call them back immediately from the visitor alert email.  The agent can record notes about the call back in the database and even set an alert to remind them to make a follow up call.

  3. If the buyer returns to the home for a second look, the agent is alerted via a phone call from the call center. 

  4. If indicated on the Property Registration Form, visitor alerts can also be sent to the agent's sales manager or team leader, in addition to the agent.
