The call center is based in Marietta, Georgia and has been in business coordinating inspection services for home buyers for over 20 years. The Call-A-Key division is a 8:30 am to dusk operation, 7 days a week including holidays.
About Us
Lynne Davis, the founder of CALL-A-KEY is an award winning realtor of 14 years in the greater Atlanta area. Lynne has always added a creative and entrepreneurial spirit to her work life. After receiving her BA at LeMoyne College, Lynne completed MBA coursework in Entrepreneurial Science at Syracuse University. Her corporate career started in marketing and training positions, and continued for 18 years in cable TV with NewChannels Corp, Cox Communications, Home Box Office (HBO), and The Disney Channel. In 1994, Lynne earned a CTAM (Cable TV Marketing Award) for a learning and incentive program she developed, Cable TV’s highest marketing accolade.
As a realtor, Lynne applies her strategic thinking and creativity to developing the best marketing activities to selling homes. Beginning at Northside Realty which was purchased by Coldwell Banker in early 2000, and continuing in her current role as a team leader at Keller Williams First Atlanta, Lynne studies buyer patterns, purchase data and trends to best tailor home marketing plans for quicker sales success. Her current team topped $6 million in sales in the 2010 down market and is slated to break the $10 million mark this year.
In 2005, Lynne noted that buyers were taking on most of the home search process, first searching on the internet and then driving by the homes they were most interested in. She analyzed the problem of how to capture those interested drive-buyers and came up with the idea of allowing buyers instant access to vacant homes and collecting their data for follow up calls. In late 2005, she filed for a patent for CALL-A-KEY, a secure instant access lock system which requires a new code every minute to open.
Lynne had the first test models built in 2008 and employed a call center to take buyer calls as they drive by them. Since then, CALL-A-KEY has sold over 50 homes in the Atlanta area and allowed close to 1700 identity-verified buyers and agents access and tours by phone. 100% of CALL-A-KEY users say they would use the system again, proving that the system is the lockbox alternative for satisfying buyer and agent access needs for the future.
